Police launch urgent appeal for missing 32-year-old Coatbridge man

Police have released an urgent appeal for a Lanarkshire man who has been missing for over 24 hours.

John Wilson, 32, was last seen around 12pm on April 24in Culzean Avenue in Coatbridge.

He is described as white, around 5ft 9in tall, of slim build with short dark brown hair and tattoos on his right forearm, at the top of his neck and on his rib cage.

When he was last seen, John was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black walking boots and a skip cap in either black or caramel colour.

Sergeant Graham Reid, of Coatbridge Police Office, said: “John was last seen in a Black Vauxhall Mokka car with registration SA14 OSV and may have travelled to the Aberfoyle area.

“We are becoming increasingly concerned about his welfare and are asking members of the public for their assistance to trace John safe and well.

“If you have noticed anyone matching this description or have seen this car, please get in contact with police.”

Police can be contacted on 101 quoting incident number 2927 of Friday, 24 April, 2020.
