Police are frantically searching for a man who suddenly vanished from Greenock.
Michael Gallacher has now been missing overnight after disappearing from Kilcreggan View at around 12 noon yesterday.
The 36-year-old has never been missing before, leaving his family worried for his safety.
It is believed he could have travelled to Kilmacolm.
Officers are now urging anyone with information or Michael himself to come forward.
He is described as white, 5ft 11, very thin build with brown/ginger coloured hair.
When last seen he was wearing a grey and blue coloured jacket, denim trousers and white training shoes.
Police Scotland said: "Anyone who has seen Michael since 12 noon today or knows of his present whereabouts is asked to contact police at Greenock via telephone number 101, quoting incident number 1098 of 16 February 2021."
