Police launch search for missing girl who vanished late last night

Police are searching for a missing 16-year-old girl.

Eleyza Mohammed, from Motherwell, was last seen in the Newarthill and Carfin area at around 11.40pm on Thursday, February 10.

She is described as 5ft 8 inches tall, with dark hair.

She was last seen wearing a green addidas hoodie and green addidas jogging trousers.

Eleyza may or may not have been wearing a head covering.

Police say anyone with any information can contact them on 101 or using the "Contact Us" form on the Police Scotland website.
