Police launch search for missing Cumbernauld woman

A frantic search has been launched to find a missing 19-year-old Cumbernauld woman.

Faith Thomson was last seen on Braehead Road in the town around 8.30pm on Saturday 17 July.

Faith is described as white, around 5ft 4in, with shoulder length blonde hair.

When last seen, she was wearing a black flower patterned dress, with black Doc Martin style boots and was carrying an orange holdall and a white carrier bag.

Inspector John O’Neill told Lanarkshire Live: “We are concerned for Faith’s wellbeing and want to ensure she is safe.

“Anyone who thinks they may have seen Faith is urged to contact us via 101 quoting reference number 0266 of 18 July.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.

Information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
