Police launch search for missing 13-year-old Scots girl

Police are searching for a missing Scots teenager who vanished earlier this morning.

Rachel Allan, 13, was last seen at around 12.30am today at her home in Paisley.

She is described as 5ft 8in, slim build with long brown hair with blonde highlights and wears glasses.

It's thought Rachel was wearing black or grey leggings and a light coloured hooded top, with blue sand shoes with white laces.

She is known to frequent the Paisley, Glasgow city centre and Largs areas.

Sergeant Ross Laughlan of Paisley Police Office said: "We just want to make sure that Rachel is okay and would appeal to anyone who may be in these areas to look out for her.

"We would urge anyone who has seen her to get in touch with police.

"Rachel, if you see this, please get in touch with the police or your family to let us know that you are okay."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101, quoting incident number 1027 of 18 September 2020.
