Police launch search for man with his own name TATTOOED on his forehead

Police have launched an urgent appeal for help in finding a wanted man with his own name TATTOOED on his forehead.

Kieran Bond, 19, has been on the run for three months since he failed to turn up for court to face charges of making threats with an offensive weapon.

The force were soon mocked by some on social media for being unable to find a man with his own name tattooed on his forehead since October.

One person wrote: "Surely they won't have to look too hard to find him! He has got his name tattooed on his face!"

Another added: "Three months and counting to track down a bloke with his name tattooed on his head. Come off it."

A third put: "Deserves arresting just for the tat. Who has there [sic] own name??"

Police had charged Bond, of Stafford, with making threats with an offensive weapon following an incident on a train near Cannock railway station on March 29.

But so far officers have been unable to locate him and admit his whereabouts is 'currently unknown'. They are now appealing to the public for help.

A BTP spokesperson said: "Do you know where Kieran Bond from Stafford is?

"He is wanted after failing to appear at Cannock Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 26 October after being charged with two threats with an offensive weapon, following an incident on a train near Cannock Railway Station on Tuesday 29 March.

"Officers have made extensive attempts to try and locate Bond, 19, but have so far been unable to trace him.

"His whereabouts is currently unknown, however he has links to West Midlands, Staffordshire, north west England."

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Bond is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2200030772.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
