A missing Newcastle teenager has been found safe and well, police have confirmed.
Paige Black, 17, was reported missing to police after she was last seen by her family in the Walker area of Newcastle at 7.15pm on Wednesday.
She was then spoken to on the phone shortly before 9pm but was not been heard from since.
Officers launched a search due to being concerned for the teenager's welfare.
Northumbria Police issued a public appeal including a picture and description of Paige in an attempt to track her down.
Now the force has confirmed that Paige has been found "safe and well" following a search.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "Missing teen Paige Black has now been found safe and well.
"Once again thanks to all who shared the appeal, it is appreciated."
