POLICE have launched an investigation after the discovery of "possible human remains" in Loch Lomond.
Officers said the alarm was raised close to Rubha Dubh, at Firkin Point, at about 12:40pm on Saturday.
The remains were removed from the scene for analysis.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the BBC: "Extensive inquiries are ongoing."
