Police launch probe after two men found dead in Paisley house

A major investigation has been launched after two men were found dead in a Paisley house.

Officers rushed to Lanfine Road in the town's Ralston area at around 7pm last night and made the grim discovery.

The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.

Police sealed off a section of the street, with officers carrying out their investigation in one the properties in the quiet residential area.

Specialist forensic officers were later seen removing items from the house.

Police remain on the scene this afternoon and cordons sealing off an area of the street remain in place.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 7pm on Thursday, April 16 , police received a call to attend at Lanfine Road, Paisley.

"Officers attended and discovered two men had died within the property.

"The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing. "
