Police launch murder investigation after woman found dead at property in Lincolnshire

  • A murder inquiry has been launched after a 27-year-old woman was pronounced dead at a property in Horncastle, Lincolnshire.
  • A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident.
  • Police were called to Warwickshires Way on Thursday afternoon following reports the victim had sustained serious injuries.
  • Lincolnshire Police are not seeking any other suspects at this time and are actively investigating the circumstances of her death.
  • Detective Chief Inspector Andy McWatt has appealed for anyone with information to contact the police to aid their inquiry.
