Police have launched a murder investigation after the sudden death of a woman in Stockport.
Emergency services were called to Beaver House in Victoria Park, at around 8.30am on Saturday morning.
Sadly, a woman in her 30s was pronounced dead and police later confirmed they had arrested a man, also in his thirties, on suspicion of murder in connection with her death.

He remains in custody for questioning.
Enquiries are ongoing to ascertain the full circumstances surrounding her death, police have said.
Officers and scene of crime officers had been seen throughout the day moving in and out of the 12-storey high-rise block of flats.
Neighbours, meanwhile, spoke of regular visits from police in recent months.

Detective Inspector Victoria Wade of GMP's Major Incident Team, said: "Sadly a woman has lost her life and, as always, our priority is ensuring we can provide her loved ones with the support and answers that they need at this devastating time.
"Although we have one man currently in custody in connection with this incident I would stress that our enquiries are in their initial stages and we are keeping an open mind as we investigate the full circumstances surrounding her death and I would urge the public to avoid speculation at this time."
