Police launch manhunt after cash stolen from house during Ayrshire break-in

Ayrshire police are appealing for witnesses after cash was stolen from a house in Irvine last night.

The break-in happened around 6.50pm on Sunday, November 21 at a property on Milgarholm Avenue in the town.

Entry was gained to the house and a number of items were stolen along with a sum of cash.

Two men were seen making off on foot from the property in the direction of the Annick roundabout.

Detective Constable Robbie McIntosh of Irvine police station said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen any suspicious activity around the area to come forward.

“We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have dash-cam or private CCTV footage from around the area.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 3133 of November 21, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
