An investigation has been launched after the body of woman was found in Swansea.
Police said they were called to the Swansea Bay area, just off Oystermouth Road, on Monday morning at around 8am.
A spokeswoman said: "The body of a woman was discovered at the edge of Swansea Bay near the Tudor Court Hotel."
She said enquiries into the woman's death are "ongoing".
The police had been called in to help a team from the Wales Ambulance Trust who were at the scene.
Police are not currently treating the death as suspicious.
