Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Wigan tonight.
Greater Manchester Police said officers and paramedics were called to Tanners Lane in Golborne to a report of a stabbing incident.
The force said a 'male' was taken to hospital as a result.

His injuries, a GMP spokesman said, are not believed to be life-threatening.
No age has been revealed.
The force said enquiries were continuing and no mention of any arrests were made.

It's understood a scene was in place covering an area around Tanners Lane and Nook Lane.

In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 5pm on Friday, police were called to a report of a stabbing on Tanners Lane, Golborne.
"A male was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening and enquiries are ongoing."
