Police launch hunt for wanted Nottinghamshire man in connection with assault

Police have launched a hunt for a wanted man and are trying to trace him in connection with an assault.

Matthew Smedley, 25, has links to Mansfield, Mansfield Woodhouse and Clipstone.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "If you have seen Smedley or have any information on his whereabouts, please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident 316 of 5 July 2019.

"You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
