Police launch hunt for missing Johnstone man

Police have launched a search for a man missing from a Renfrewshire town.

Kristopher Cruden was last seen about 2pm yesterday and has now been reported missing from his home in Johnstone.

The 45-year-old is described as around 5 ft 9, slim built with short brown hair and facial stubble.

Kristopher has tattoos to both arms and was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue t shirt, green cargo shirts and carrying a small backpack.

Sergeant Ross Laughlan, Renfrew Police Office, said:"Kristopher has been going through a tough time recently and seemed a bit upset when he was last seen.

"We just want to make sure he is okay and would appeal to anyone who may be in this area to look out for him.

"We would urge anyone who has seen him to get in touch with police. Kristopher, if you see this, please contact us to let us know you are okay."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 0283 of 30 April 2020.
