Police launch hunt for attacker after man left with serious face injuries in Leeds city centre mugging

A man was left with serious face injuries after he was robbed in Leeds city centre.

The 25-year-old victim was punched and kicked by a man before he was robbed, at around 2.30am on Saturday, June 22.

The thief made off with a mobile phone, watch, ring and a small amount of cash and left the victim with serious face injuries.

West Yorkshire Police has launched an investigation and released CCTV images (shown above) of a man detectives want to question about the robbery.

Anyone who recognises the man or has information about the incident can contact Leeds CID on 101 and quote crime reference 13190316254.
