Police launch dashcam appeal after male cyclist, 53, killed in crash with lorry on Old Kent Road

A male cyclist died after being struck by a lorry on Old Kent Road in Peckham on Tuesday evening.

Officers were called to Old Kent Road at around 6.30pm to reports of a crash between a male cyclist and a lorry on the A2 junction with St James Road.

A man, 53, was found pronounced at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.

His next of kin have been notified.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene, police said.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

The Met Police have urged witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage to come forward.
