Police have launched a CCTV appeal following two robberies at shops in Trafford. Detectives would like to speak to the man in image above in connection with two incidents in the space of three days at stores on the same street in Sale.

In the first robbery a security guard at Willoughby’s Wine Warehouse on Washway Road was threatened at around 2.15pm on Sunday, February 13. Police say 'several products', including cigarettes, were stolen.

Two days later a member of staff at the Co-op on Washway Road was threatened and items including alcohol and scratch cards were stolen. It took place at around 8pm on Tuesday, February 15.
