Northumbria Police has confirmed that missing North Tyneside man Ian Richardson has been found safe and well.
Ian, from North Shields, was reported missing after last being seen on Wednesday at around 6am in the Monument area of Newcastle city centre.

Police were growing increasingly concerned for the 27-year-old's welfare and asked anyone who may have seen Ian to come forward.
On Thursday morning, a spokesperson for the force confirmed the good news that he had been found saying: "Thanks to everyone who shared our appeal to find missing North Shields man, Ian Richardson.
"He has been found safe and well."
