Police launch appeal to find missing East Kilbride woman

Police are appealing for assistance from the public to trace 36-year-old Lisa Harris, who has been missing from East Kilbride since Friday.

Lisa was last seen at her home in Derwentwater, East Kilbride, at around 3.30pm on Friday afternoon. She was reported missing to police on Saturday, after family members became concerned when they hadn't heard from her.

Lisa is described as white, 5' 3" tall, of medium build, with dark hair which has a red tint. She has the word "Mum" tattooed on her left wrist and has a dolphin tattoo on her left upper arm. She was last seen wearing a light green tracksuit and was carrying a small black shoulder bag.

Sergeant Kayleigh Coulthard, of East Kilbride police office, said: "Lisa has been dealing with a few personal issues recently and the fact that she has not been in touch with her family since Friday is concerning.

"If you have any information as to where she is then please contact officers at East Kilbride police station quoting reference number 3199 of Saturday, May 1, 2021.

"We'd also ask Lisa herself to get in touch with police or her family who are really worried about her well-being."
