Disabled pensioner missing in Inverness has been found safe and well

A disabled pensioner who went missing in Inverness has been found.

Police in Inverness have launched an appeal in a bid to try to trace the whereabouts of 60-year old Clifford Sturrock after he went missing from his home in the Dalneigh area of the city.

Clifford, who requires the aid of a crutch when walking, has links to both the Dalneigh and Hilton areas of Inverness and police were keen to trace his whereabouts.

A post on the official Highlands & Islands Police Scotland Scotland Facebook page has since revealed that he has been found, with members of the public thanked for their help in locating him.
