Urgent search launched for missing mum Joanne Walker who vanished from Clackmannanshire

Concerns are growing over the disappearance of a woman in Clackmannanshire.

Police say it is "out of character" for mum Joanne Walker to not be in touch with her family.

She was reported as missing from her home in Tillicoultry, having not been seen since Friday night.

Police are appealing for information which could help trace the 54-year-old.

Joanne was last seen at around 10pm on Friday at her home on Stalker Avenue.

She was reported missing around 11.15pm on Saturday, 11 July by her family.

Inspector Gillian Burns said: "It is out of character for Joanne to be away from her family for this length of time and we are concerned for her welfare.

"I would urge anyone with information regarding her whereabouts or if you believe you have seen her to contact police as soon as possible."

Joanne is described as being white, around 5ft 5in tall and of average build.

It is not known what she may be wearing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 4797 of 11 July, 2020.
