Police are appealing for information after an assault on a London Underground contractor at Farringdon station.
Police said a man approached the contractor, who was fixing a broken entry gate, and punched him in the face.
The contractor was knocked to the ground, only to be punched again when he got up, British Transport Police (BTP) said in an update yesterday.
The victim sustained a broken jaw as a result of the attack, and his injury will require surgery.

Police have released an image of a man they believe could help them with their investigation.
The incident took place between 9.45am and 10am on April 1.
Anyone who recognises the man has been asked by the BTP to contact the force by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 219 of April 1.
Anonymous information can also be shared with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
