Police launch appeal after two tractors deliberately set on fire in Biggar farm

Police are investigating after two tractors were deliberately set on fire at a farm in Biggar on Saturday.

Both vehicles were completely destroyed in the blaze which happened around 1am on June 5 in Quothquan.

The incident impacted severely on business as both tractors were required for the day-to-day running of the farm.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to contact them.

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 268 of 5 June, 2021.

Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
