A warning has been issued to Range Rover owners and drivers as a result.
All the thefts happened in the Hyde area on Monday evening into Tuesday, police said.
Greater Manchester Police's Tameside South and West division issued an alert on Facebook and urged drivers to take action to improve security.
Anyone with a keyless ignition system should keep fobs in special pouches overnight, the force said.
They can stop thieves from cloning a key remotely and taking a vehicles.
Police patrols are being stepped up in the areas targeted.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, GMP Tameside South and West said: "Overnight we have suffered a number of thefts of vehicles in the Hyde area, all of which have been Range Rovers.
"These have all gone by means of a keyless theft.
"If you have a keyless ignition system in your car please put your keys in a faraday pouch overnight.

"This prevents thieves from cloning your key remotely and stealing your vehicle.
"These pouches can be obtained over the internet and are not expensive, especially when considering the cost and inconvenience of having your car stolen."
Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.
The number of Range Rovers stolen - or the locations of the thefts - haven't been revealed.
Police added: "If you do hear or see anything suspicious overnight please ring us and we will get someone out to you.
"Additional force resources will be deployed in the area to target those committing these crimes."
