An urgent appeal has been issued for help finding a girl who was last seen in south Manchester almost 24 hours ago. Greater Manchester Police says Marya was seen at around 6.45pm yesterday (September 6).

She was spotted on Westerling Way, in Moss Side, at that time. GMP says she was wearing a pink hoodie with blue denim jeans at the time, while she may also be wearing a scarf.

Marya, whose surname and age has not been given, is described as 5ft 1ins tall and of slim build. She has brown eyes, although GMP says Marya could be wearing blue or green contacts.
