Police issue urgent appeal for teenager last seen riding bicycle in Wigan

Fears are growing for a missing teenager believed to be in the Wigan area.

Police have issued an appeal to the public for help in their search for Joshua Bisson.

The 16-year-old was last seen on his blue Apollo mountain bike.

He is described as being white, around 6’0”, of slim build and with fair short hair. 

According to officers, Joshua has no glasses, no piercings, and no marks or scars. 

He was last seen wearing multi-coloured trainers and a black North Face gilet jacket.

Police put out an appeal about the missing teen at 11pm on Sunday (February 21). 

He is still missing, a spokesperson for GMP has confirmed.

A spokesman for GMP Wigan West said: “Missing from home Joshua Bisson 16 years.

“Description/Clothing White male, 6'0", slim build, fair short hair, no glasses, no piercings, no marks or scars, wearing multi coloured trainers, black north face gillet, He is on his bike which is a Blue Apollo Mountain Bike.

“Police are growing concerned for him and believe that he is in the Wigan area.”

Anyone with any information on Joshua or his whereabouts should contact officers on 101, quoting MSP/06LL/0000399/21.
