Police have found an 11-year-old girl who went missing from her school following an urgent search in south east London.
Caprice-Maitai Barrett-Reid was last spotted in Hilly Fields wearing her school uniform and a purple puffa jacket at 3.25pm on Tuesday.
The greenspace is next to her school in Ladywell, Lewisham.
Scotland Yard said she was found overnight close to her home.
Officers in Lewisham said on Wednesday: “Thanks to the many people who shared our appeal for information about 11-year-old Caprice-Maitai who was missing from Lewisham.
“We are pleased to let you know she was found safe and well last night.”
