Police issue urgent appeal for help to find vulnerable pensioner missing from his Beeston home

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to find a vulnerable man who is missing from Beeston.

Peter Evans, was last seen on Tuesday (June 23) in Leeds city centre.

The 82-year-old man is believed to have boarded a bus around 12.50pm at Leeds Bus Station which travels to Wetherby and terminates at Harrogate.

Peter is described as white, of slim build and with short grey hair.

He may be wearing a black coat, grey trousers and black shoes.

In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"Anyone who believes they may have seen Peter is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 815 of 24/06."
