Police issue urgent appeal for help to find missing former colleague

Police are appealing for help to find a missing former colleague.

Elizabeth Howe, 43, was last seen on Grafton Street in Heaton Norris, Stockport, on Christmas Eve - Tuesday 24 December last year GMP say.

She has not been seen since.

Greater Manchester Police said officers are 'becoming increasingly concerned for Elizabeth and want to make sure she is safe and well'.

Ms Howe is white, around 5ft 8 and of a slim build. She has brown, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

She may be wearing a grey knee-length hoody - or a jumper - with jeans.

"Elizabeth may be travelling with her boyfriend in a car believed to be a blue Ford Focus which was seen in the Glencoe area of Scotland on Wednesday 1 January 2020," the force added in a statement.

Detective Chief Inspector Jude Holmes said on Twitter: "Please share far and wide - Liz is an ex-colleague and there are serious concerns for her."
