Police issue urgent appeal after schoolboy, 12, vanishes during his lunch break


An urgent hunt has been launched to find a schoolboy who went missing at Friday lunchtime

Police have appealed for the public’s help to bring Tyler, aged 12, back home safely.

He was last seen around 1:30pm on Friday, January 14, HullLive reported .

He had been around the Rysome Road area of Weeton, East Riding of Yorkshire.

A Humberside Police spokesperson said: "Can you help us find missing 12-year-old Tyler who was last seen at around 1.30pm on the 14th January 2022 around the Rysome Road area of Weeton.

"Tyler is described as approximately 5ft, of slim build with red/ginger coloured hair.

"Tyler also wears braces on his top and bottom teeth.

"He was last seen wearing a Henry Lloyd Green and Mustard jumper, Black Tracksuit bottoms and possibly rugby boots.

"He may have also been on a red child’s scooter.”

Anyone with information who can help Tyler get home safely is urged to call 101 and quote log number 292.
