Police have issued an update on a two-car smash that took place in Kilmarnock last night.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service rushed to the Bellfield Interchange, just off the A77, at around 8.15pm on Tuesday, May 7.
The crash took place on the southbound sliproad to Ayr.

An eye-witness at the scene told the Kilmarnock Standard that two cars were involved in the crash and that two major support team ambulances, thought to be from Glasgow, arrived shortly after the collision took place.

Police confirmed that there were no serious injuries as a result of the two-car crash.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “One person was taken to Crosshouse Hospital to be checked over.”
