A fire that engulfed a city centre building is being treated as accidental.
Merseyside police closed Pall Mall after a derelict warehouse went up in flames on Thursday, January 20.
Fire crews were on the scene at around 5.17pm, after the ground floor of the three storey building caught fire.

Emergency services cordoned off the road in both directions while crews tackled the blaze.
Firefighters put out the fire by 6.09pm and handed over the scene to police at 7.59pm.
After investigation work took place overnight, Merseyside police have confirmed this morning that the fire is being treated as accidental.
A spokesperson from the force told the ECHO: "It is being treated as accidental with no further requirement of a police investigation at this stage."
A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue service said: "Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service is currently in attendance on Pall Mall, Liverpool.
"Crews were alerted at 5.13pm and on scene at 5.17pm. Three fire engines are currently in attendance.
"On arrival crews found the ground floor of a three storey derelict warehouse well alight.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
"The fire had been brought under control by 5.44pm and completely extinguished by 6.09pm.
"Fire crews left the scene at 7.59pm and the incident was handed over to Merseyside police."
