Police issue update after woman found dead in BMW parked at side of road in Leeds

West Yorkshire Police have released an update into the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman found in Leeds.

The woman was found in a grey BMW X5, which was parked up at the side of the road in Thorner Lane, Bramham, shortly after 11.45am on Monday, June 25.

Police were appealing for witnesses and information after the discovery, and were keen to speak to anyone who saw the vehicle between 10pm on Sunday, June 24 and 6.15am the following day.

Officers are now not treating the woman's death as suspicious.

In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: "As a result of further enquiries, the woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious and the Coroner’s Office has been informed."

The woman's name has not been revealed.
