Police issue fresh appeal for missing boy from Didsbury who was last seen in Wythenshawe

UPDATE: JOHN NOONAN HAS NOW BEEN FOUND SAFE AND WELL

Police have issued a fresh appeal for help to find a missing 13-year-old boy from Didsbury.

John Noonan was last seen at around 6.20pm on Thursday (June 11) on Saxfield Drive in Baguley, Wythenshawe.

The teenager is described as white, approximately 5ft tall, with dark brown hair with a flat fringe and freckles on his face and cheeks.

In a statement issued to the Manchester Evening News, GMP said: "Officers remain very concerned for the safety and welfare of John Noonan and want to make sure he is okay. There have been no confirmed sightings of John but officers believe it's very likely that he's still in the south Manchester area.

"Detectives are hoping the public can help to find John and are continuing to appeal for any infromation."

John was last seen wearing a black anorak jacket with blue cargo pants and black trainers.

He is also believed to have a black and green mountain bike.

John is from the Didsbury area.

Officers say they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for the welfare of the the youngster.

They are appealing for anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forwards.
