Party goers were stopped by police at a house in Bulwell after they broke Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.
This comes following a weekend of house parties, mainly in the Lenton area of the city, on the first weekend the new £800 have been introduced for parties with more than 15 people.
On Saturday, January 20, at 8.59pm, officers were called to a property in Austin Street, Bulwell, after receiving calls stating that there was a party.
Officers arrived to find party goers "well in drink" and five individuals were identified as breaching Covid lockdown restrictions. Each were handed a fine.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: "The restrictions are in place for public safety, please think first: Is this trip necessary?
"Am I mixing with people I should not be mixing with? If you are not aware of the lockdown restrictions, you can find them on the government website or alternatively download the NHS Covid App on your mobile device which will give you all the up to date information you need."
