Police have released CCTV footage of a person they want to speak to after two youths hurled bricks at a car.

Officers say two boys targeted the vehicle while it was parked on Le Mans Crescent, in Bolton town centre, on September 18.

The car's windscreen and windows were smashed, while it was also left with damage to the doors and roof.

Police say the vehicle, which was valued at £20,000, had to be written off.

Two young boys were seen on CCTV meeting in Victoria Square at 9.35pm, both dressed in black clothing with hoods down, officers say.

They then left the scene and headed onto Newport Street at 9.55pm.

Officers say they would like to speak to the person in the footage in connection with the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Greater Manchester Police, quoting crime reference CRI/06KK/0028362/21.
