Police issue CCTV appeal after payment card stolen from County Durham house used in shops

Police have released CCTV of two people they want to speak to in connection to a County Durham burglary.

A wallet and payment card was stolen from a Bishop Auckland home which is then believed to be used in several shops in the town.

The burglary took place on Brantwood Terrace on May 22 this year.

A Durham Constabulary spokeswoman said: “Do you recognise these two people?

“Officers want to speak to them in connection with a burglary in Brantwood Terrace, Bishop Auckland, on May 22.

“A wallet was stolen from a house and a payment card from it is believed to have been used in several shops in the town.

“If you have any information call 101 quoting incident reference number 157 of May 22.”
