Police issue CCTV after pub toilet 'inappropriate touching' claim

Police are investigating claims of "inappropriate touching" in a pub toilets.

Cheshire Police have released a photo of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident at the Derby Arms in Widnes.

Cops say the touching took place in the Widnes Road pub at 4.50pm, on Thursday, August 29.

The man is described as white, around 5ft 8ins, aged over 50 with short dark greying hair and is of a skinny build.

Detective Constable Tom Lucas, of Widnes Local Policing Unit, said: “While we have followed a number of lines of enquiry I believe the man in the image can further help us with our investigation.


“I want to encourage this man to come forward and for anyone who may know the identity of him to also get in touch with us.”
