Police issue appeal to trace missing man who has links to Kilmarnock

Police are trying to trace a missing man who has links to Ayrshire .

Officers say that Ryan Smith usually frequents Kilmarnock.

The 25-year-old Glasgow man was last seen at around 6.30pm on Saturday on Lintlaw Drive in the city.

He left in a red coloured Vauxhall Corsa, registration number SB13 YVX.

He was reported missing after concern was raised for him.

Ryan is described as being around 5ft 10, of stocky build with a bald head and dark-coloured features.

When last seen he was wearing a long-sleeved Gucci shirt with blue sleeves and blue denim jeans. He has a tattoo on the ride hand side of his chest.

Inspector Derek Kelly, Govan Police Office, said: “We are currently speaking to those who know Ryan and searching to trace his vehicle to try to establish where he has gone to make sure he is safe and well.

“He has been going through some personal issues lately and it is out of character for him to disappear and not be in contact.

“He frequents Glasgow and Kilmarnock and therefore we would ask anyone in these areas to look out for him or his vehicle. If you know anything about his whereabouts please contact police via 101.

“Ryan, if you see this, please get in contact with us or your family to let us know you are okay.”

Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 5813 of Saturday 24 August 2019.
