Police issue appeal to help trace missing teen with connections to Renfrewshire

An appeal has been issued to locate a missing teenager who has not been seen since last week.

Corey Weallans disappeared around 5.30pm on Thursday, November 24 from Airdrie, North Lanarkshire.

Police say the 14-year-old has family connections in Renfrewshire and so could possibly be in the area.

He is described as being 5ft 5in tall, has fair short hair, blue eyes and is of a stocky build.

At the time of his disappearance, it is believed the teen was wearing a blue Nike zipper jacket, black Nike tracksuit bottoms and black Nike trainers with a yellow tick.

A spokesperson for the Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Police Division said: “Anyone who may have seen Corey since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 0458 of 25th November 2022.”
