Police issue appeal to help find missing Airdrie man

Police are appealing for help in tracing a vulnerable man who has been missing from Airdrie for four days.

Paul Hadden was last seen in the town centre at around 7pm on Saturday, June 19, but has not been seen or heard from since then.

The 41-year-old is described as white, 5ft 9ins, of medium build, and with short, dark brown receding hair.

He was last seen wearing a burgundy anorak and was carrying a large holdall.

Sergeant Fiona Wallace of Airdrie police station said: “Paul likes to travel to different areas of Scotland and goes for nights away, but it is extremely out of character for him not to be in touch with his family.

“They are becoming increasingly worried about him. I am appealing for anyone who thinks they may have seen Paul, or has any information regarding his whereabouts, to come forward.

“I would also urge Paul to please get in touch with someone to confirm he is safe and well.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 1479 of June 20.”
