Police have issued an appeal to find a missing Co Down teenager who was last seen leaving his school earlier today.
16-year-old Shane Downey was last seen leaving Shimna Integrated College, Newcastle, at around 1.30pm and is believed to still be in the town.
He was wearing his school uniform, which consists of a navy blazer, grey trousers and a white shirt.
Police are asking anyone who has any information about Shane or his whereabouts to contact police on non-emergency number 101.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are looking to establish the whereabouts of Shane Downey.
"He was last seen leaving Shimna Integrated College in Newcastle, this afternoon. Shane is wearing his school uniform, comprising of a green blazer, grey trousers and a white shirt.
"Shane is believed to still be in the Newcastle area.
"Anybody with any information, please phone police on 101 quoting serial number 1491 of today's date."
