Police issue appeal for missing Jarrow man, 82

Northumbria Police have issued an appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of missing Jarrow man, Maurice Rasbid.

The 82-year old was reported missing at 6:30pm on Thursday (October 28) and officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Maurice was last seen leaving an address in the Westfield area of Jarrow at 4pm on Wednesday, and has not returned home since.

He is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall, bald on top with grey hair. He may be wearing a black flat cap, black jacket, jeans and beige boots.

Police have asked the public to check sheds and outbuildings, or anywhere someone in a confused state may have gone.
