A MAN has been arrested after an alleged rape in Glasgow city centre.
Police are investigating the serious sexual assault which happened yards away from the city's Queen Street Station at 2.10am on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Anchor Lane.
Police have not revealed any more information, but they did say that their investigation will continue.

Anchor Lane is often used as a shortcut by people going from St Vincent Street to the station.
The lane is located near some of the plushest restaurants like Anchor Line, The Citizen and Zhima.
A police cordon remains at the scene with officers standing guard.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.10am on Thursday, September 25, 2025, we received a report of a serious sexual assault in the Anchor Lane area of Glasgow.
“A 28-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
