Police are investigating after a blaze broke out at Filton golf course this evening (Wednesday, April 8).
A spokesperson for Avon Fire and Rescue Service confirmed experts at the authority believe the cause of the fire is 'deliberate'.
One crew from Southmead fire station attended the incident at around 8:02pm.
A spokesperson said: "On arrival, firefighters found a large number of bushes on fire.

"Firefighters used one high pressure hose reel to tackle the fire and prevent it from spreading.
"Police were also in attendance and the cause is thought to be deliberate."
