Emergency services rushed to Montague Street near Great Western Road at around 3.30pm yesterday (Saturday, June 22).

A local told Glasgow Live: "Three ambulances and six paramedics attended the scene along with a local doctor and a number of neighbours.

"The casualty was a young person who unfortunately died while paramedics were in attendance.

"Uniformed and CID officers were on the scene until late yesterday evening."

Cops are currently treating the death as non suspicious but unexplained, and a post mortem examination is due to take place.
