Police release statement following 'sudden death' of man in Mapperley

Nottinghamshire Police is investigating following the sudden death of a man in Mapperley.

Officers were called to Plains Road at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, September 29 following the report.

A cordon was put in place whilst officers gathered the necessary evidence and a file will now be passed to the coroner.

The death is currently not being treated as suspicious, the force added.
