Police have released an image of a man they want to trace after a couple were attacked in Newcastle city centre.
The appeal comes from officers investigating the assault, which happened at The Beehive pub at about 6.25pm on Saturday December 9.
It was reported that a man had started an altercation, during which a woman was headbutted and her male partner was bitten on the face.
The people involved left the bar before police arrived and enquiries to identify the person responsible for the assault are ongoing.
The man in the picture released by officers was in the bar at the time and may have information that will assist the investigation.
